On 7th December 2021, thanks to Professor Pietro Perconti, head of the COSPECS Department at University of Messina, many international students as well as their professors have gathered to participate in a cultural event hosted by a group of Vietnamese students, most of who are first years studying in COSPECS themselves and Department of Law.
The first part involved two famous films, one dated back to 1993 while the other was recently made in 2017, both revolving around the life of people in Vietnam from different aspects. Then the audiences are shared with more realistic visual demonstration and valuable insights while enjoying popcorn and the traditional sweets: mung bean paste.

On-site catering was served at 19:30 for all those who took part in the event. Food was prepared and handled with care by the student organizers, covering both Vegan and non-vegan spectrum to satisfy everyone interested in exploring the authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Spring rolls (both fresh and fried), Pho, Dumplings with Beefy Black Pepper sauce were the options for the main course; Bubble milk tea, Lychee panna cotta and Fruit yogurt served with condense milk are currently popular in Vietnam and were therefore brought in for the presentation; and last but not least, Vietnamese coffee.

The organizers were happy and grateful for the arrival of approximately 100 distinguished guests and brought the end to the event with live music performances.
